Smart NA Chassis, TAP and Span Modules
Network Critical TAPs provide the most flexible configurations with high density fiber optic TAP systems or standalone portable fiber optic TAP or copper or an SFP based TAP for flexibility that can be installed in a frame or rack chassis system.

- The -2 simple Breakout TAP
- The -4 Breakout, Aggregate, Span, Regeneration TAP
- -6 Breakout, Backplane access for Aggregate, Filter, Span, and Regenerate across all taps in the same chassis. Lowest Cost Matrix Switch.
Smart NA 10G Aggregating FIltering TAP
The SmartNA 10G TAP comes equipped with one pair of 10 gigabit input ports, 10 gigabit monitoring ports, two gigabit monitoring ports and a management port that also outputs statistics from the tapped segment.

High Density SlimLine Fiber Optic TAPs
The passive SlimLine Fiber Optics taps come in dual tap modules that can be mounted in a single frame to provide up to 16 fiber optic splitter taps in a 1U. Key to Network Critical is the high quality construction that allows you to select Fiber Optic taps based on cable types 50 micron, 62.5 micron, or 9 micron and can support 10/100/1000, 10Gbps, OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, or OC-192 with the same tap. Dual wavelenght support for multimode 850/1310 and singlemode 1310/1550 is standard in all Network Critical taps. Your only other consideration is split ratio or how much light you want to steal for monitoring. Your in stock choices are 50:50 and 70:30. Other split ratios of 80:20, and 90:10 are also available.
SlimLine Fiber Optic TAP Modules
Breakout Fiber Optic High Density Low Cost TAPs support all levels of communication with low loss. The same 50 micron TAP supports 1G - 10Gbps, OC 192 etc. Select connector type and fiber type - that's it!

VLINE Bypass TAP


Network Critical's V-Line devices provide failsafe protection for an inline appliance. Installed on an ethernet segment in place of the appliance, the TAP continually checks the appliance’s status and directs network traffic through it. If the appliance goes offline the TAP automatically bypasses it and traffic is directed through the bypass tap to network devices. When back online again traffic is once again directed through the appliance.
These product are ideal for use with Wireshark type analyzers or packe decoders, Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention, IMS, CALEA Lawful Intercept recorders and any applicaiton performance managment system.
